"Looking Both Ways" was painted in the mid nineties and includes a modern style Float Box hardwood frame constructed and painted by the artist. It's a Non-Objective - Color Field work that was selected for display in the 2010 Wide Open Art Exhibit at the Brooklyn Waterfront Arts Collation Gallery. The jurors were Anne Strauss, a Curator at the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art and Nicholas Baume, Chief Curator of the NYC Art Fund. Less than 10% of more than 1,600 works entered were selected. And, it was also selected for display in the 1998 annual NJ State Wide Juried Exhibit at the Art Alliance Gallery in Red Bank NJ.
(1) It's priced at standard plus 40% for selection to two important juried exhibitions.
