" Sorry We're Closed"  was painted in the mid nineties from my recollection of a traveling circus event I shared with my children some years earlier. Though perhaps a bit Surreal, I presume it would be cataloged as an Expressionist work. I put it together with an insert of the clown calling it a day immersed in my familiar color field grid. 

The Painting hangs in a private collection in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
