"Three Balconies" - painted in 2016 - is an Expressionist portrayal of a Caribbean Sunrise. As with my 2009 painting "Caribbean Sunset", it uses a series of geometric segments* along with vibrant color and a touch of perspective to add an awareness of depth and movement to the work.
