Painted on a Gallery Wrap Canvas that does not require framing for display.

"Blocks"-  was painted in 2011 as part of my "Ordinary Things" series and it was included in my "Ordinary Things" gallery exhibit in 2011. The idea to paint it came from a few different stimuli including an image of stacked geometric block like objects I viewed in a magazine and from watching a child playing with alphabet blocks. It's third dimension was produced using basic perspective techniques and amplified by floating the Blocks in a toned down yellow and white "checkerboard grid".

The Painting hangs in a private Collection in Deal NJ.
